interview with right livelihood laureates at the university of zurich

In May 2024, we gathered to discuss peacebuilding through common security and international law. I was honoured to meet people from various organizations who dedicate their lives to human rights and equality.

presentation for the lions club zurich

In April 2024, I presented to the Lions Club Zurich, a network supporting numerous organizations worldwide. The talk on climate change and marine ecosystems highlighted the importance of renewable energy initiatives. A strong emphasis was placed on algae as a sustainable alternative to plastic.

Rescue Diver and NGOs in Indonesia:

In July 2023, I completed my rescue diver on Nusa Penida. The course deeply strengthened my ability to handle stressful situations underwater. There I met the people behind some exciting projects and NGOs in Bali.

One is the project Coral Cousins on Nusa Penida, which focuses on coral restoration.

The other interesting organisation that presented its work was the Marine Megafauna Foundation. They introduced us to their techniques for tracking mantas in Indonesia and told us about the life history traits of these big ray species.

On the right you can see the first turtle I had the immense pleasure of swimming with during a snorkelling tour on Nusa Penida!
